Andras was having a lovely morning right up until the moment Sarah walked into their room nonchalantly. He’d woken up in his favorite body, bantered with his best friend and even been able to eat their favorite breakfast, a lovely Acai bowl with some cocoa almonds on top. Spending these past few months hopping between the girls he had tried loads of their different foods with each of them having similar but differing tastes and he’d found Lena and Sarah had the best diets that suited him.
Sarah always ate really nutritious food for the sake of tennis and Lena ate similarly to her friend but was slightly more creative when it came to taste thus the pair always felt like they were brimming with energy. He still liked being the other three girls but their lifestyles involved either partying, one too many ‘energy’ drinks or simply forgetting to eat so he couldn’t say they were as invigorating as the other two.
So there he was, sitting cross legged on the ground, in the same nightwear, enjoying his meal with his friend and the sunlight streaming in from the open curtains when the door suddenly opened and closed just as quickly. Sarah had made her way into the room at… 7:36am just to start looking through her draws like she hadn’t screwed Lena over the night before..
Seeing Sarah enter so casually, not even acknowledging the pair, he felt fury quickly rise to the surface of Lena’s emotions. Before Andras could greet the newcomer, Lena simply said “Andras.” To which he replied, “Yep.” Knowing exactly what she wanted.
Setting his bowl aside with a sigh, knowing he probably wasn’t going to get to finish it, he rose from his position and pulled the curtain down. The sudden drastic decrease in light level finally got Sarah to face them as she was greeted with the sight of her friend pulling her shirt down to reveal that all too familiar green glow.
As she watched that ball extend from her friend’s chest the only thing she could do was wonder if his spirit was always that shade. Sarah didn’t have much time to think about it because as soon as the demon had detached itself from her friend’s body Lena had taken several steps forward to confront her.
“What the hell was that last night?!” She demanded, crossing her arms.
Sarah just rolled her eyes, “What was what? I can’t control my boyfriend!” She tried.
Deciding he doesn’t want to stand over the two as they hash this out, Andras carefully sat down his long form on Lena’s bed. Planning on waiting patiently for this to finish.
“You tell him you have plans already! You can’t keep leaving me hung out to dry like this!” Lena lectured her friend.
“What’s the problem? It’s not like you do much but sit in your room anyway.” Sarah rebutted
“The problem is that it’s almost every time it’s your turn! A handful of times you’ve shown up and done your part but most of the time there’s some excuse or delay that keeps you from fulfilling your full day. The other girls don’t have a problem keeping up their end, why do you?!”
Andras continued to feel more awkward as the argument went on but having seen this argument a few times before he could guess what was coming next.
Sarah shook her head, “I’ve had enough of this.” She stepped around her friend before walking up to Andras and grabbing his hand. Holding it up to her face she said, “Come on, get it over with.”
Looking at Lena for approval she just threw her hands in the air, clearly sick of having this argument. Realizing that’s probably the best he’s gonna get he started the process by disintegrating his hand and flowing into the accepting girl.
As his essence pushed into Sarah’s body he felt a familiar resistance. Each of the girls had gotten used to him taking over their bodies at this point and were thus able to relax their spirits to surrender control but he’d found they each had varying levels of resistance.
The best way he could characterize it, when he explained it to Lena, was like wading through water. The deeper the water the harder it is to move and with each of the girls there were different ‘water’ levels. Lena was by far the easiest but Bianca and Kiera were also pretty smooth. Amber was only slightly more difficult than the rest but Sarah was as hard as Lena was easy.
His senses briefly blacked out as his head dissipated into Sarah’s mouth. All that remained was the sensation of swimming against the tide as his essence spread throughout her body. Spreading to every inch of her body he felt he heard a sound he couldn’t quite make out as he began connecting to her ears.
With the connection now formed he heard someone speak, “Hey Sarah forgot her boo-…”
Having now seized control of Sarah his vision returned just in time to see who had entered the room. Turning his head he saw a dumb struck Justin holding a book he recognised as Sarah’s.
An infinitesimally small amount of time passed as they all stared at each other but his demonic instincts took over as he leapt from his standing position to the door and before he could react, wrenched him inside by the collar of his shirt, slamming the door behind him.
Lena stood transfixed as Andras slammed the terrified boy against the door and quickly released a spray of green gas from his girlfriend’s mouth. All he managed was a choked gasp before the gas flooded his senses and he slumped against the demons grip.
Andras and Lena let out a sigh of relief, but Andras’ didn’t last long. “WHAT DID YOU DO?!” Sarah screamed, causing him to wince at the mental shout.
“PUT HIM DOWN, YOU’VE GOT 15 SECONDS TO TRANSFER TO LENA!” She continued.
Andras obliged, placing him gently on Sarah’s bed and turning to Lena, “Lena, sh-“ he started
“Yep.” She cut him off.
Without saying anything further they stood facing one another and Andras placed his hands on Lena’s shoulders as he ‘collected’ himself.
He pulled his essence inwards from every corner of Sarah’s body, giving up control that she was eager to regain. Having compressed himself sufficiently he flowed upwards out the way he came in, his spirit felt the warm morning air as he emerged from Sarah’s mouth and entered Lena’s waiting one.
With the ‘bridge’ formed the rest of his spirit quickly flowed from Sarah and into the much more comfortable Lena. He had gained control of Lena quickly, so quickly that Sarah still had a blank look on her face as her nervous system reset itself.
That blank look wasn’t long for this world though as it turned to anger in the blink of an eye before she pushed Lena back and turned to her unconscious boyfriend.
“God Andrew what did you do?” She asked rhetorically.
“How is this my fault?! You forgot to lock the goddamn door!” He protested. He knew she was upset but this whole situation was on her. “Why is he even here in the first place?” He asked
“I must have forgotten my books in his car when he dropped me off but that’s not the point. What the HELL do we do now?” She said while trying to make sure her boyfriend was ok.
Looking down, he took in Justin’s appearance, he’d only seen him a few times since they started dating about a month ago but he hadn’t gotten a great look at the guy.
He was a thin white guy with a tall frame, a stubble beard and long brown hair stopping half way down his neck. Sarah had been sure to keep him away during her scheduled time but he was told some basic details in case they ran into each other. He majored in some arts program with no real goal beyond that’s what he enjoyed doing. He lives just off campus and he very much enjoys video games.
“Don’t worry… the gas has a very strong effect on short term memory. When he wakes up he should only remember dropping you off.” He assured her.
“Should? That’s not good enough!” She scolded him.
“There’s nothing that can be done for now, we’re just going to have to wait and see what he remembers.”
And so they did. Sarah didn’t fail to make a comment every few minutes about how screwed they were but otherwise Andras sat in his bed on Lena’s phone and Sarah sat at the desk, pretending to be busy.
Aside from Sarah’s bickering, the trio sat in silence as Justin lightly snored, oblivious. It was nearly half past eight by the time he started to stir. Opening his eyes, the boy was greeted by his girlfriend and her best friend staring at him.
“Uhhh good morning?” He asked sheepishly
“Go-good morning babe, good to see you’re finally awake.” Sarah said in a high pitched tone. If Justin found her tone odd he didn’t voice his concern as he sat up.
Andras went back to looking at Lena’s phone as to not arouse suspicion but while he might have looked calm on the outside, a SEA of turmoil was going on between the pair.
Since he sat down he had done nothing but worry about hypotheticals with Lena. What if he remembered? Would they have to silence him? What if they couldn’t? Where would Andras go? How much trouble would the Girls be in? How were they going to deal with this?!
“How did I fall asleep here?” Justin asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. With that sentence, the boiling pot that was Andras’ facade simmered just a little.
“Don’t you remember? You came to return my books and fell asleep after we cuddled for a bit.” Sarah offered awkwardly.
“Goddamn she isn’t winning any awards for acting anytime soon.” Lena ‘said’ to him.
“With Lena here?” He asked.
“Oh no I was out getting breakfast at the time but I didn’t wanna wake you guys.” Andras cut in. Justin shifted his gaze to look at him and he never thought he’d be one to shrink under a human’s gaze but the potential ramifications were so astronomical even the intimidating demon felt his stomach drop at the look.
Nevertheless he maintained his nonchalant smile, albeit a little awkwardly.
Seemingly accepting this answer, Justin turned to his girlfriend. “Damn I’m sorry babe, you should have woken me up.”
“Oh don’t worry, it was cute.” She said with a smile.
Fishing his phone out of his pocket, Justin saw the time and bolted upright. “Oh shit, I’ve got class in half an hour!”
Leaning forward he kissed his girlfriend on the cheek and headed for the door. “I gotta run, I’ll call you later?” He asked.
“Sure, bye babe!” She called after him before the door closed.
jjjjjjjjj
The two stared blankly at the door for a few moments before letting out a breath they didn’t know they were holding.
“Fuck.” Sarah said, summing up how the trio felt. “That was too close!”
“This is why we lock the door.” Lena told the demon sardonically.
“Look I don’t care that It’s my day, I’m swapping with someone. I need time to myself after that.” Sarah exclaimed while gathering her bag and books before exiting swiftly.
Andras didn’t even try to stop her much to Lena’s annoyance but even she knew there wasn’t any point. Without discussing it, the demon opened up the group chat.
“Hey guys we uhh had a close call this morning and I need a new escort for today, is anyone available?”
“Leave it to Sarah to find yet another way out of doing her part.” Lena mused. The pair didn’t have to wait long before getting a response.
“Oh my god what happened? I can’t sorry, I’m off campus.” -Amber
“I’ll tell you guys later, for now I just need somewhere to go.”
“Sure! I just got into a lecture though, it will be a few hours. Can you wait?” -Bianca
“Uhh not really, I have class in 20 minutes and we won’t have any breaks until early afternoon.”
“Ughhh one of those two better be available, I can’t go 3 days without using my own body you know.” The girl once again complained.
Before Andras could try to apologize to her, another message popped up.
“I could, I’ll just be in my room studying until midafternoon anyway.” -Kiera
“Ok so I’ll come meet you guys in Kiera’s room once I’m done?” -Bianca
“That works! I’ll be right over Kiera.”
“” -Kiera
“Oh thank fuck, don’t get me wrong Andras. I like having you around but I gotta stretch my legs sometime you know?” She asked
“Yeah I know, don’t worry about it. I just feel like a burden sometimes.”
“You’re not a burden! You’re our friend…Sarah just has a funny way of showing it.” She assured her demonic pal.
“Welp, let’s not keep her waiting.” He told her before getting up and heading for the door.
“Stop. Pants.” She said, causing Andras to look down and realize he was still just in underwear and a shirt. His face burned red at what he almost left her room in.
A few minutes later he was knocking on Kiera’s door, now fully clothed. Just a few moments passed before the pair were greeted by Kiera, opening the door for them to come in.
Kiera was in an… odd getup for just sitting in her room, Andras noticed. Looking her up and down he could see she was wearing some form fitting jeans, a white button up shirt and.. a Lacey bra? Definitely not the usual baggy pants and shirt he was used to seeing her in when she was alone in her room.
“Hey guys, what happened?” She asked them, sounding concerned.
Still a little caught up in her appearance, he had to shake it from his head before explaining to her everything that had happened in the past hour or so.
“Shit, so we really did come close to getting found out.” Kiera said.
*cough cough* Lena ‘said’, hinting at the demon.
“Oh, sorry Kiera. Lena’s getting a little antsy, is it alright?” He asked, getting a little closer.
“Oh of course! Transfer away!” She said, closing the rest of the distance between them and for the second time that morning, Andras transferred from the mouth of one friend, to another.
Opening his eyes, he realized Lena had regained control and was already heading for the door. “Gotta go guys! Have fun!” She called behind her.
With the door slamming shut, Andras examined his hands before risking a glance downwards. Seeing the Lacey bra from a new angle before Kiera reminded him that he wasn’t alone.
“Like what you see?” She teased.
“Oh uh sorry, this isn’t your usual outfit so I was a little thrown off is all.”
“Can’t a girl change it up every now and then?”
“Of course! You look lovely, sorry, like I said I was just thrown off.”
“You are forgiven.” Andras could practically feel her smirking. “But I’ve gotta get back to work, sit down will you? I doubt we’ll be able to make much progress but it will help you with Lena’s homework.”
For the next hour, Kiera instructed the demon on how to pick up from where she left off. It was slow and rigid but Kiera was being very patient and attentive. Maybe even a little too nice? Andras couldn’t quite put his finger on it but with the odd choice of outfit and now the odd behavior he was starting to wonder what’s going on with her.
It wasn’t until he was looking through folders to find a certain file did she suddenly become a lot more rigid and the pleasant emotions she was radiating were soured slightly by an uncomfortable emotion Andras didn’t have a name for.
“It’s the top right one, labeled ‘Audio’.” She instructed him.
Moving the mouse across he paused when he felt a flash of fear as he moused over one specific folder. Keira stayed silent as he hovered over a dozen files looking to get a response but none inspired the jolt of fear that the one labeled ‘Homework’ did.
Curious, he double clicked it and in the very brief few milliseconds it took to load, Kiera’s emotional spectrum went from apprehensive to horrified as she realized he decided to open it.
He was greeted with a few dozen icons on his screen, each of these icons was mostly decorated with splashes or white and/or purple but they were a little too small for him to see what they were actually depicting.
As he right clicked and went to enlarge the icon size Kiera broke the tense silence. “Heyyy Andras maybe we should go ba-“
She trailed off when he’d finally clicked the largest icon size and their shared view was now covered in thumbnails of what looked like the two of them in many compromising positions.
Andras was shocked to say the least, right in front of his eyes he saw what looked like him, or at least a random demon, doing things to an animated version of Kiera that even he had never thought of.
They blankly stared at the scene together for what felt like an eternity. Both of them being completely unsure how to address this situation. But instead of asking her what the hell this all was, he simply moved his cursor to the back button and clicked out.
“Uh so this was the folder you wanted right?” He asked awkwardly as he hovered over the original folder she asked him to open.
“Y-yeah. That’s the one.” She replied.
This hour passed much more slowly than the last, with that one simple decision he had turned their dynamic on its head. Both too worried to say much more than simple instructions and acknowledgements.
One completely confused and the other extremely nervous, they did not make much progress.
At the sound of someone knocking on the door, they both wanted to cry out in relief. Andras wasted no time shooting up from Kiera’s desk and opening the door to be greeted by Bianca.
“Hey you two! Sorry that took so long, you’ve been fine here though?” She said, oblivious to the current situation.
“Uhh n-no, we’re fine! But uh Kiera’s gotta get back to work sooo…” He replied.
“Oh of course, go ahead.” She said with a sultry smile. Which confused Kiera a little.
Closing the door behind his friend he quickly placed Kiera’s hands on Bianca’s shoulders and departed her so quickly that Bianca’s head was thrown back as he rocketed into her mouth.
“Jeez, you couldn’t have made that a little smoother?” Bianca asked him as she ceded control.
“Sorry I… uh… I’ll tell you later.” He replied to which he felt her project curiosity and intrigue.
Kiera’s blank stare didn’t last long as she quickly turned and sat down. “Thanks guys, I’ll see ya later.” She said pretending to be very engrossed in her computer.
“Cool, thanks Kiera.” He said, departing swiftly. He’d only gotten two steps away from Kiera’s dorm before Bianca bombarded him with questions. To which he sighed and said “it’s just been one of those days.”
